Espai Tònic was artistic director of Espai TONIC from 2014 to 2022. The intention is to create a direct link between the artist and the public, always focusing on the artist's own vision as a creator. Through art exhibitions in various disciplines, an attempt is made to show artistic practice with the minimum possible usual interference. The dynamics between the public and the creator is a fundamental part of the process of presenting art. Giving free passage to the artist who has a primary need to create, regardless of the eye of the beholder.

¨The artist's discourse as a focus has motivated me since the beginning of the project. I strongly believe in the power of art as an engine of change of view and a tool for reflection. That is why it also motivates me to be able to observe the reaction of the public live, when they come to Espai Tonic, and we present them with works of art with content. Furthermore, as an artist, I also see the need for infrastructures like Espai Tonic to be able to develop contemporary art towards a stable future. Being able to show all facets of artistic praxis gives us the opportunity to leave the concept of art as an ´object´ and arrive at a more complete conception of what art is. The debate on the meaning of art in our society and its value in cultural processes forms the backbone of what we are building at Espai Tonic¨.
